The Sound installation // “Klang der Sprachen" by Mariateresa Sartoris // 2023 // presented in the Habibi Kiosk via my designed and together with the incredible workshops of Münchner Kammerspiele developed sound chair. How does one's own native language sound purely/musically/tonally? What remains of the language without the context of its words? Mariateresa Sartori's “Sound of Languages" aproached this question in a very sober and technical way. By systematically shifting consonants within and between words, she creates texts whose words and sentences are devoid of meaning.
